Description:

Crimson PAC is a buffered alkaline detergent that has been proven to be more than an effective substitute for caustic soda cleaners. Due to its formulation of buffers and mild alkalis, it is safe on skin, soft metals, and plastics. Crimson PAC is used to penetrate carbon or protein soils and is not effected by hard water. Crimson PAC is a very effective C.I.P. cleaner that is particularly useful for removing soil found on brew kettles, conditioning tanks, filters, and fermenters. In addition, the blend does not require the excessive heat of typical caustic cleaners.

It is designed to be a low foaming CIP cleaner that will effectively removes protein soils, stains, fats, and oils from kettles and vessels. The amount of chlorine in this product will control the blue discoloring found on stainless steel after heat processing of protein based products. Crimson LC Blend is especially suited for removing soils in brew kettles and fermenters.

Description:

Crimson NPK Acid is specially formulated as a keg cleaner to solve scale formation that develops with standard Alkaline cleaners. Its blend of detergent and acid quickly penetrate dried beer and easily dissolve oxalate scale. As an acid detergent, this blend can clean in a carbon dioxide environment without damaging the keg. Continual use as the main keg cleaner will keep scale free and condition its inner surfaces. Crimson NPK Acid can also be used as the main cleaner in bright beer tanks. Its ability to work cold and in Carbon dioxide makes it ideal for this job. It saves time by not requiring carbon dioxide evacuation, and also its cold use will not create rain storms in the cooler.

Crimson PAA 5 is a stabilized, equilibrium mixture of peracetic acid, acetic acid, hydrogen peroxide, and water. The Power of Processing

Description:

Calcium Chloride may be used as a salt for water adjustment for the purposes of lowering pH. Calcium chloride is particularly useful in adding calcium to water that is low in chlorides. Calcium chloride may also be used in very small amounts to sweeten the final beer product.

Calcium Sulfate - in beer manufacturing the calcium ion, together with the needed buffering action as provided by proper water correction, promotes proper gelatinization of the starch in the cooker mash, as well as protein degradation and starch conversion . Thus, yield in the main mash is increased. In addition, the color of the wort is improved, and better precipitation and flocculation of undesireable protein complexes are achieved. The result is a paler, smoother tasting beer with improved stability and shelf life.

Citric Acid is used as a preservative, acidifier, chelator, and flavoring in various sections of the food and beverage industry. In Brewing applications, Citric Acid solution is used in sanitizing solutions to lower the pH, which will make the SO2 level more effective.
